I have only seen a Manatee once when I was in Florida but they seemed very docile. Of course, I am not an expert on them but it had propeller scars on it and I think it was being nursed back to health.

Manatees are some of my favorite aquatic animals, and I have seen quite a few, including a few rather large ones in captivity in Florida.
